Vincent van Gogh's Paris period is 1886-1888 preceding his move to Arles. After arriving in Paris, Vincent begins studies with Cormon (1845-1924) at his atelier. Vincent is not as influenced by the training with Cormon as much as by the introduction to his fellow students: John Russell, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, copper garden art and Emile Bernard.
